Hickox lives on the Toronto Islands from which she derives much of her inspiration. Hickox returned to Canada for the 5th year graduate studies program at the Ontario College of Art and Design in Toronto, where she obtained an AOCA degree and further explored her interests in photography and printmaking from 1974 to 1978. In order to continue to explore interests in photography, Hickox went to London to study photography and graphic design in Twickenham College of Technology from 1973 to 1974. Mobile Police are working with Prichard Police after they say he robbed a Waffle House on SpringHill Avenue Wednesday night–firing one shot in the store, and demanding money from the register. Weeks later, Prichard Police say Dees went back to the Family Dollar again, and he was able to leave with money. He allegedly fired a shot in the ceiling and demanded money, but nothing was taken. He was first discovered by Prichard PD back in April for attempting to rob the Family Dollar on North Wilson Avenue. Prichard Police also allege that Dees is wanted to for two other armed robberies in the city. He demanded money from the cashier, and left with almost $700 in cash. He went inside and fired one shot into the ceiling.
